Important Academic Information for New First-Year and Transfer Students

Starting in summer, new students receive access to the New Triton Advising site on the Virtual Advising Center (VAC), where you will:

  • Update Eleanor Roosevelt College on your academic information
  • Learn about writing, math, chemistry, and language placement exams
  • Learn about first-quarter enrollment
  • View your enrollment guidance for fall quarter classes

Important Steps

Step 1: Complete New Triton Advising

 Submit your academic background information on New Triton Advising through the Virtual Advising Center. 

Step 2: Complete Orientation Registration

New Student Orientation is required for all incoming freshmen and transfer students. Registration begins in June at cor.ucsd.edu.

Step 3: Attend Mandatory Virtual and In-Person Orientation Sessions

Orientation Part 1 in August is a virtual session that will include an Enrollment Guidenace Webinar Session hosted by academic advisors with Q&A session to prepare for Fall quarter enrollment.
