These webinars, taking place in August, will help prepare you for academics at UCSD with information on course registration, academic plans, transfer and AP/IB credits, and much more. You'll be able to get your advising questions answered and get to know our ERC academic advisors. These sessions will be offered in early August with information on registration to be sent out as we approach that time.
In-person orientation sessions will be offered for incoming first year students on September 17, 19, and 22, 2025. This will be during move-in for housing and during welcome week. Students should select an orientation session that does not interfere with any travel or move-in plans. The in-person sessions offer opportunities to connect with other students, get oriented with the community, and participate in engaging activities.
All incoming students must register and attend both Orientation Part 1 and Part 2.
If you are a new International Student, additional programs may be required. iOrientation is designed to help orient you to the UC San Diego campus community, inform you of your F1/J1 rights & responsibilities, and give you an opportunity to connect with other new international students.
