MMW California Seminar

MMW California (CA) Seminar is a small-group experiential program that combines a two-week immersive summer experience in California's Sierra Nevada and San Jacinto mountain ranges with a specially-designed MMW-015 or MMW-122 seminar in the academic year.

Through firsthand engagement with national and state parks, forests, and wilderness areas, students explore the complex relationships between human and environmental landscapes.

Applications open in winter, and a program fee is required. To learn more about the program, contact Professor Matthew Herbst at mtherbst@ucsd.edu or visit the program website.
