MMW Summer Session

Can I take GS and "R" course simultaneously during the summer sessions?

Yes. However, GS is a five-week program that includes fieldwork, readings, and writing assignments. You will need to be prepared for a potentially heavy workload.

Can I take MMW-014R and MMW-015R simultaneously in the 10-week Special Summer Session?

Yes. However, the assignment structure (due dates and requirements) for both courses will be the same. This means that if you are enrolled in both courses, you will need to plan for submitting work for both courses on the same day(s) every week, and you will need to plan for making space in your schedule to accommodate multiple synchronous group meetings for both courses.

Are the synchronous group meetings mandatory? Where can I find the schedules?

Yes, the synchronous group meetings are mandatory and will be held through Zoom. The meeting times are set by the TAs and/or students based on shared availability and time zone compatibility.

When will my 10-week Canvas course be available?

Summer 2026 MMW courses are taught in the 10-week special summer session from June 29 to September 5. You will be added to the Canvas course site before the session begins.

I have access to the course Canvas site. Does this mean I'm enrolled in the course?

No, waitlisted students have access to the course Canvas sites through Friday of Week 2. To view your enrolled classes, log in to the Triton Student System (TSS). Once you are removed from the course site, some of the assignments you submitted may no longer be available. Please save copies of your assignments and any grades you have received so you can provide them to your instructor or TA if you enroll in the course during the late add period.
