Taryn Prado is a third year student with a General Biology major and a European History minor.  Hailing from Scottsdale, AZ, Taryn plans to attend medical school to become a reconstructive surgeon.  Until then, she will keep herself busy as a member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity, UCSD Extension International Programs Conversation Leader, and a Thornton Hospital Same Day Surgery Division Volunteer.  In addition to being an Orientation Leader, Taryn as also served as an ERC Student Affairs Intern.  She loves the view from the fourth floor balconies, late night runs to the new Village market, Café Ventanas sandwiches, and Admit Day.  Taryn has travelled to Turkey and Venice, and counts Seattle as one of her favorite U.S. cities to visit.
