Raquel Castellanos is a Sociology and Communication double major from Los Angeles, CA. As a fourth year student, she has worked as the student lead librarian at IRPS Library, served as a research assistant at UCSD’s External and Business Affairs, and is a member of Alpha Chi Omega. Raquel says her friends jokingly call her Dr. Phil because she puts others’ needs first but “I always take care of business while doing it.” She hopes to attend graduate school, travel as much as she can, and work for a magazine or advertising company. In the meantime, she’ll continue to enjoy Sungod, the ERC Green, Price Center, Library Walk, Rock N Roosevelt, Geisel Library, and Welcome Week at UCSD, and will look forward to a European tour after she graduates.
