Sarah Tegenfeldt is a third year History major and German Studies minor from Ventura, CA. She cites a trip to India as one of the greatest experiences of her life because it is what inspired her to be doctor and “travel to places without proper healthcare and donate my time.” As she works toward her goal of becoming a neonatal or OB/GYN surgeon, Sarah lends her time to ERC’s orientation as well as to UCSD’s Early Academic Outreach Program. This past year, she participated in Eleanor’s Global Health Advocates as a part of the Clinton Global Initiative 2011 commitment to provide safe drinking water to countries with high levels of waterborne illness. Sarah loves the fun and spirited atmosphere on I-Walk and the Green during Sungod.
