Sandra de Sousa - known as Sandra d. - is a fourth year student majoring in Physics and working toward a minor in Mechanical Engineering. She was born in Macau, lists her permanent address as Corona, CA, but refers to Vegas as home. An outstanding OL last year, Sandra d. is returning this year as a Senior OL. She has also served ERC as a Resident Advisor and an Admit Day Ambassador, and cherishes the wonderful friendships she has made at UCSD over the last three years. Sandra d. has travelled to Malaysia - "my favorite vacation experience" - and has lived in England where the people and their accents are "amazing." If she were in charge, everyone would have to be positive! We know Sandra d. well enough to know that it's her sunny disposition which guides her as she aspires to landing her dream job by the time she's 25, giving her some time to experience the world through travels before beginning a family by 30.
