Angie Mendoza is a Human Development major from Los Angeles, CA. A fourth year graduating senior, Angie has kept herself busy from the moment she stepped on to campus. She has served on Student Council at ERC, was an intern at the Women's Center, has been a Resident Advisor at Revelle and will serve in the same capacity at ERC this year, is a member of Kaibigang Pilipino, and lent her time and talent to the UCSD production of The Vagina Monologues. She aspires to be "the next Penny Rue" (UCSD's Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs) and toward that end has attended conferences for students interested in pursuing careers in student affairs. Angie looks forward to dunking MMW professors at the end-of-the-year MMW Blowout, but don't let that fool you into thinking she's in any way callous. She reveals her deep and authentic concern for others in all that she does, including the three times she has donated her hair to organizations such as Locks of Love. If Angie were in charge, she claims that people could trust that their leader was genuinely caring. In her case, we know this to be true.
