Jiten Mehta is a third year student majoring in Human Biology and completing a minor in Human Rights. Hailing from Diamond Bar, CA, Jiten can be considered a world traveler having visited France, Italy, Germany, the UK, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, China, India and South Korea. An only child with 42 cousins, Jiten aspires to a career as a doctor or a medical researcher, despite the fact that he tripped on his first day as a runner in a hospital! He keeps busy and involved at ERC as a Resident Assistant, a member of CORE and the Sangam C South Asian Community Club, a tutor at the Preuss School, and a volunteer at UCSD's Hillcrest hospital. You can usually find him hanging out on the Green playing intramural sports, or enjoying the view from Café Ventanas. No matter where he is, Jiten is sure to have a welcoming smile on his face.
