When will my Orientation Session start and end?

All sessions are anticipated to begin after 12 noon and end by 4:30 pm.

How do I get to the Pangea Parking Structure?

From Interstate 5: Exit Genessee Avenue and head west. Turn left on North Torrey Pines Road (3rd traffic light). Make the second left on Pangea Drive.  Make a left on North Scholars.Turn left into Pangea Parking Structure. Coin operated meters are located on the top floor. The ERC Student Activities Center is directly adjacent north of the Pangea Parking Structure.

Where do I get a parking permit?

You will receive a parking permit in the mail. Your one-day parking pass is valid in spaces painted with yellow squares with a black "S" on the ground or spaces painted with green squares with a black "B" on the ground. You must circle the appropriate date on your pass and display on the driver-side dash.
Should you arrive without your parking permit, please use the coin operated meters located on the top floor.

Parking regulations are strictly enforced on campus. ERC is not responsible for any parking citations issued to you. You can appeal your parking citation by visitinghttp://blink.ucsd.edu/facilities/transportation/citations/appeal.html

Will there be food at Orientation?

We will provide light refreshments and beverages.  Please plan on eating lunch before coming to orientation.

What should I bring to orientation?

Please bring a backpack, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket or sweatshirt, bottled water, and a good attitude/ready for fun.

Where and when do I take the math placement exam?

Consult the Math Placement Exam web site at http://mathtesting.ucsd.edu/

Can my family members or friends come to orientation? Will I be the only one there without parents?

Unfortunately, our Transfer Orientation program is for incoming ERC transfer students only. We encourage you to share the information you learned at Orientation with your family members once you return home. Also, every family can access ERC's Family Guide online at http://roosevelt.ucsd.edu/family. We recommend that you invite them to Family Weekend, October 21-23, 2011,http://www.ucsd.edu/parents-families/.

Where and when do I get my Campus ID?

You can obtain your Campus ID starting in late August after you register for your fall classes.  Your Campus ID is issued at Student Business Services, click on this link for office hours and directions, sbs.ucsd.edu.

In addition, the following ERC Campus ID times* are reserved for orientation:

Saturday, September 17, 2011, 9:00 am - 12 noon
