Supporting Eleanor Roosevelt College
Your gift to Eleanor Roosevelt College has the power to make a difference in your student’s education. The college system combines the advantages of a small liberal arts college with the opportunities and resources of a large research university – providing undergraduates the best of both worlds.
Provost's Fund 
At Eleanor Roosevelt College parents, families, and members of the community support programs that bridge classroom experiences with the wider world. Current examples include:
- Model United Nations
- CORE (Community Outreach Effort)
- Tutoring at The Monarch School
- ERC Undergraduate Research Conference
- Language Conversation Tables
Alongside these long-term and large-scale programs, the Provost's Fund supports many small yet essential initiatives, from purchasing a new ping pong table to providing shared meals that bring students and faculty together in small and informal settings.
Scholarship Fund 
Parent and family giving also supports college-based scholarships. We currently award 15 scholarships per year to ERC students planning to study abroad. Recent recipients include:
- Bradley Waples - Santiago, Chile
- Melissa Brouwer - Rome, Italy
- Kelsey Quigley - Lima/Ayucucho/Cuzco, Peru
Our goal for 2012 is to create a new scholarship for ERC students who seek to combine study, research, and public service by participating in either the UCDC (The University of California Washington Center) or the UCCS (University of California Center Sacramento) programs. Thanks to donor generosity, the first $25,000 in contributions to this scholarship will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
Volunteer Opportunities 
Volunteers play important roles in the life of Eleanor Roosevelt College. They mentor students participating in the Academic Internship Program; they serve on committees selecting scholarship recipients; they lend a helping hand during major public events like the lecture series "The Making of the Modern World: To Be Human."
