Attending Freshman Orientation is essential to your success at UC San Diego. Orientation is a program designed for incoming freshman in preparation for Fall 2010. The purpose of Orientation is to provide students with a smooth and helpful transition to college life. You will receive detailed information about orientation, and how to register for an orientation session by mid-May. The online reservation site will open after you receive the instructions about how to register. The June 2010 orientation sessions will be held between June 17th and 22nd.
Session 1: June 17-18 (2 day session, Thursday - Friday)
Session 2: June 21- 22 (2 day session, Monday-Tuesday)
Session 3: September 16-17 (2 day session Thursday-Friday)
Session 4:September 17-18 (2 day session, Friday-Saturday)
Please note: Yom Kippur begins at sundown on September 18, 2010-please keep this in mind when registering for orientation.
Orientation Check-in is from 1:15 to 2:00 p.m. on day 1 and the program begins at 2:15 and ends the following day at approximately 5 p.m.
