Student Council at ERC (SCERC)
With the Dean, the Council appoints students to campus-wide and college committees, sets various college policies, and provides monetary support to all ERC groups. Elections are held Spring Quarter, and meetings are every Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

A Celebration of Cultures at Home and Abroad
This ongoing ERC program lets ERC students experience new cultures through unique and exciting quarterly events. Each quarter, a Global Marketplace program highlights a specific world region with discussion groups, cultural group performances, activities, and food.

Commuter Student Association (CSA)
CSA is designed to help commuter students stay involved in ERC activities and events while living off-campus. The group meets bi-weekly to plan and implement on– and off-campus events like commuter breakfasts, movie nights, and beach parties.

Community OutReach Effort (CORE)
CORE is a group of students engaged in volunteer work in the ERC, UCSD, and San Diego communities. The group’s activities include Tutoring, Mentoring, Soup Kitchen Assistance, Quilts 4 Kids, Special Olympics, and an international Spring Breakaway Trip.

ERCTV
ERC-TV is a student-run closed-circuit TV station for ERC students that broadcasts through on-campus cable connections. The students plan, produce, and air live and taped programming, while learning about broadcasting and communications.

Bible Study at ERC
BSERC is an interdenominational student group that meets weekly to read, analyze, and discuss Biblical scripture. Meetings and membership are open to students of all faiths and affiliations. BSERC also plans and implements social and community services activities.

Senior Committee
Committee members plan and implement activities for graduating seniors, including the June commencement ceremony.

International Affairs Group
IAG meets weekly at international House to discuss and examine world issues in an informal setting. Undergraduate students from all colleges as well as other members of the campus community are encouraged to participate.

Programming at ERC
PERC represents all students living in the residence halls and apartments at ERC. Activities have included blood drives, coffee nights, MMW Blowout, Halloween Haunted House, Murder Mystery Theatre, and other fun and exciting events.

Spirit at ERC (SPERC)
This enthusiastic group is made up of students active in boosting ERC pride at campus wide annual events such as UnOlympics, Spirit Night, Admit Day, and Athletic Events.

Semi-Formal Committee
This committee plans and holds the gala social event of the year for ERC students which is traditionally held at a different off-campus site each year.

Transfer Student Association
TSA is designed to help transfer students become involved in ERC leadership opportunities, activities, and events. The group meets twice a month to plan and implement on– and off-campus events like barbecues, informational workshops, and other activities.

Intercultural Communications Workshop
The annual ICW provides international and domestic students from diverse ethnic backgrounds an opportunity to learn about each others’ cultures and to improve cultural adaptation and intercultural communication skills. ICW takes place during Winter Quarter.
