On Sunday, June 16, 2013, approximately 858 undergraduate students participated in the Eleanor Roosevelt College commencement ceremony. Countless friends, family, and loved ones proudly cheered on the Class of 2013 in celebration of their accomplishments, triumphs, and successes. The graduating class elected student speaker Jacob Emge, who articulated commonalities in experience through completing Making of the Modern World (MMW) courses, participating in extra-curricular activities, and enhancing one’s role and responsibilities as a global citizen.
Each year the graduating seniors select a favorite professor for the Outstanding Faculty Award. This year, the 2013 graduating class selected two outstanding faculty members: Professor Maureen Feeley and Professor Christina Johnson.
On behalf of the faculty, staff, and members of Eleanor Roosevelt College, we wish our graduating seniors the best in their future endeavors. Congratulations class of 2013!
