Gartzke is a widely published Associate Professor in the Political Science Department. His Primary Area of study involves the impact of information and institutions on war and peace. He also fouces on applying bargaining theory, rational choice institutional theory, and statistical analysis to three main areas of interest: Liberal Peace; International Insitutions: and Diplomacy.
