Eleanor Roosevelt College’s Sixth Annual Undergraduate Research Conference
Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 5 PM (Week 3 of Spring Quarter)
ERC's Great Hall
All undergraduate students of Eleanor Roosevelt College are invited to present academic research they have pursued as enrolled students at UC San Diego.
Project topics may include, but are not limited to, departmental projects, honors theses, papers, MMW research papers, ERC 92, and 199 research projects. Media, theatre, and dance projects are also welcome. Research projects that are incomplete, but currently on-going are eligible as well.
The UC San Diego community of faculty, staff and students are invited to attend.
The Conference will begin with a poster board session and conclude with PowerPoint or Prezi presentations. Students may apply to present at either session; presentation format will be determined by the URC Screening Committee.
All students chosen to present their research via PowerPoint or Prezi will be required to sign up for a supervised practice presentation with the faculty organizers of the Undergraduate Research Conference.
Two students will be awarded $200 in UCSD student account credit; one student from the poster board session and the other from the PowerPoint or Prezi presentation session.
Presentations will be evaluated based on oral summary of research, response to questions, and overall coherence of presentation to an educated and interdisciplinary audience.
