Are you a faculty member or visiting scholar who needs apartment-style housing close to campus? Are you especially interested in undergraduate students? Each year UCSD’s International House houses approximately five visiting faculty or scholars who are willing to become part of its international, multi-cultural community.

Five fully furnished rooftop apartments are available for rent to individuals as Visiting Scholars-in-Residence. Visiting Scholars will be expected to participate in I-House programs and to collaborate with the Director of International House in the development of programs for residents and the larger campus community.

A full 12 month lease is preferred. The minimum term for the rental lease is one quarter. The lease includes:

• One- and two-bedroom apartment units, some with scenic ocean views
• Furnishings, including stove and full-size refrigerator
• All utilities (water, electricity, trash, basic cable including HBO)
• Campus computer network connections
