Beasley, Holly C. Shulman, and Henry R. Beasley of the University of Maryland. It is located in the Social Science and Humanities Library Reference Stacks for use in the library only.

The Eleanor Roosevelt Center at Val-Kill is a non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to Eleanor Roosevelt's belief that people can enhance the quality of their lives through purposeful action based on sensitive discourse among people of diverse perspectives focusing on the varied needs of society. ERVK operates out of Stone Cottage, which is the original Dutch fieldstone cottage constructed at Val-Kill for Eleanor Roosevelt by her husband Franklin D. Roosevelt. Provost Ann Craig was among the honored guests attending the 1999 Ceremony at Val-Kill Cottage honoring that year's Eleanor Roosevelt Medal recipients.

The Peace Corps: Mrs. Roosevelt was appointed by President John F. Kennedy to the first Peace Corps Advisory Board. UCSD consistently ranks very high among large universities in number of graduates serving in the Peace Corps.
